Privacy Policy

We may process account/profile details, contact details, property listings, inquiries, visit details, communications, transaction records, technical logs and documents submitted for a specific property, tenancy or loan case. We use data to provide requested services, route enquiries, secure accounts, prevent abuse, maintain records and meet applicable obligations. Access should be limited by role and business need. Do not submit identity or financial documents unless requested for a stated purpose; never send passwords or OTPs. To request access, correction or deletion, contact help@decodeproperty.com with the subject “Privacy Request”. We will verify identity, assess legal/accounting retention obligations and respond; some records may need to be retained or anonymised for lawful purposes. Retention periods must be set by category and reviewed regularly. Security measures reduce risk but no internet transmission or storage can be guaranteed absolutely secure. This policy is a template, not a representation of compliance; the operator must add its legal entity/address, actual vendors, lawful purposes, contact/grievance details, retention periods and applicable Indian-law disclosures after legal review.

Retention and deletion

Data should be kept only as long as needed for its documented purpose or applicable legal obligations. The operator must maintain a category-wise retention schedule, review expired records, securely delete eligible private files and document deletion requests. Backup copies may age out on the configured backup cycle; a restore procedure must reapply outstanding deletion requests before restored data is put back into service.
